ADHD & Learning Evaluations

ADHD Evaluations

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a complex neurological disorder that impacts an individual’s ability to attend to information and/or filter their thoughts and behaviors, thought to result from executive functioning errors in children, adolescents, and adults.  However, these behaviors may result from several psychological disorders not associated with ADHD.  ADHD evaluations are designed to help determine if ADHD is the root cause for inattention and impulsivity, as well as provide differentiation between inattention and hyperactivity.  ADHD evaluations also provide a targeted approach to treating these disorders.

Learning Evaluations

Learning evaluations focus on an individual’s strengths and weaknesses as they relate to cognitive and academic performance.  They are designed to identify personal strengths and weaknesses in academics performance.  Learning evaluation are also useful in identifying specific issues that may be holding the child, adolescent, or adult from achieving their academic or career goals.  Learning evaluations provide targeted treatment plans for parents, treatment providers, and academic institutions on how to create the best learning environment for the individual and enhance their academic performance so they may reach their full potential.
